=== Bard === * Added 12 unique modifiers for symphonic weapons. * Added 1 unique Bard-related modifier for accessories. * Added a new Electronic instrument type in place of the Other instrument subclass. Electronic instruments all provide the Empowerment Prolongation empowerment. Any instrument previously in the Other subclass that do not fit as an Electronic instrument have been moved to their best-fit category (see below). * Changed nearly all Music Sheets, along with Song of Ice & Fire and Bagpipe, into "big instruments" which requires timing to use effectively, much like The Set. ** Each "big instrument" requires different timings based on its instrument type (String, Brass, Wind, Percussion). * Overhauled the empowerment system: ** Added empowerments for Aquatic Ability, Empowerment Prolongation, Flat Damage, Flight Time, Invincibility Frames, Jump Height, Maximum Resource, Resource Consumption Chance, Resource Grab Range, and Resource Regeneration. ** Removed empowerments for "Ammo Consumption", "Mana Regen", "Max Health", and "Max Mana". ** Empowerments are now granted on instrument use instead of on enemy hit, with the exception of the Auto Tuner, Ornate armor, and Jester armor, and other onHit empowerment interactions. ** Empowerment durations are now all equal, defaulting at 5 seconds. ** Empowerments are now sorted into groups, and instrument categories each focus on a different empowerment group instead of being arbitrarily spread out amongst all instruments (Brass: Damage; Percussion: Movement; String: Defense; Wind: Resource). ** Adjusted distribution of instruments' number of empowerments and empowerment levels to better match the player's progression. ** Certain empowerments are now exclusive to Hardmode instruments. * When at max inspiration, the next instrument use has its empowerment duration increased by 1.25% for every base max inspiration: 10 (12.5%), 20 (25%), 30 (37.5%), 40 (50%). * Changed Inspiration regeneration system: ** Inspiration now regenerates at a rate of 7.5/sec but gradually reaches 30/sec after 10 inspiration has been recovered. ** Inspiration regeneration bonuses now directly affect the entire 7.5/sec to 30/sec calculation instead of just the previous 7.5/sec; this effectively fixes a misleading aspect of the old regeneration system where a 1% increase did not truly mean a 1% increase. This also makes inspiration regeneration effects far more impactful. * Updated instruments that lacked a proper sound effect on use, such as the Eskimo Banjo, Panflute, and others. * Updated the way instruments work with pitch and fixed some multiplayer issues associated with it. * Added a visual indicator when the player's inspiration fully recharges. * Added right-click feature to Drum Mallet, spawning a bouncy drum for players. * Removed the 0.25% (max 10%) playing speed increase given by the player's maximum inspiration value. * Changed maximum base inspiration from 8 to 10. * Changed Inspiration Fragment to now increase maximum inspiration by 1, the chance for inspiration notes to drop by 1%, and adjusted the recipe. * Changed Conch Shell, Didgeridoo, and Shadowflame Warhorn to Brass. * Changed The Maw to String. * Changed Kazoo to Wind. * Changed Aquamarine Wineglass from a Depth Chest item to being crafted with Aquaite Bars. * Changed "Lihzahrd Saxophone" from a Jungle Temple item to a Geode item. * Changed Wind Chimes functionality to be shorter ranged, like most other Percussion instruments. * Changed Ghastly French Horn functionality to a slow useTime onHit vortex explosion. * Changed Kazoo functionality to a more appropriate "annoying zig zag". * Changed Tambourine to cost 1 inspiration to use. * Changed Ebonwood Tambourine & Shadewood Tambourine functionality to have a high damage "sweet spot" right-click ability. * Changed The Black Otamatone functionality to a two-tether cursor placed attack. * Changed The Maw functionality to better suit a string type instrument. * Changed Crier armor effects around to better assist fresh Bards. * Changed Noble armor set bonus to the old Marching Band armor set bonus. * Changed Marching Band armor set bonus to a new 'marching band trail' effect. * Changed Track Player functionality to increase the potency of specific empowerment groups on the wearer by 1 empowerment level's worth of stats. * Changed Music Player functionality to an ally-shared version of the new Track Players. * Changed Auto Tuner functionality to increase a random active empowerment by 1 level onHit, up to level 3, and only once every 2.5 seconds. * Changed Cork Grease from a Mechanic purchase to a Goblin Tinkerer purchase. * Changed Marching Boots to be sold immediately by the Cobbler. * Changed Mouthpiece, Plunger Mute, Guitar Pick, and Vibration Tuner itemization and crafting recipes slightly. * Changed Earworm buff from 4 second empowerment duration increase to 25%.
