The Angel's End is a non-consumable Hardmode throwing weapon that can autofire. It is dropped by the Moon Lord. It throws cosmic lances that fly extremely fast and are not affected by gravity for a few seconds after being thrown. They stick into enemies for 10 seconds, and up to three lances can be stuck in an enemy at a time. Upon hitting an enemy with three lances already stuck in it, the lances will disappear in an area-of-effect burst that deals approximately twice as much damage to hit enemies.
Like most non-consumable throwing weapons, using this weapon builds up an exhaustion meter that appears below the player. Not using the weapon will make the meter slowly go back down. However, if it becomes completely filled, the user will be inflicted with the Exhaustion debuff, causing all non-consumable throwing weapons to deal massively decreased damage for some time. The meter resets after the debuff ends.
Trivia[ | ]
- This weapon is a reference to the Spear of Longinus from Neon Genesis Evangelion, a weapon of "god-like" power used in the show to defeat an angel.
