The Blood Moon Medallion is a consumable item used to summon a Blood Moon. It can only be used at night; attempting to use this item during in the day or while a Blood Moon is already ongoing will do nothing, and will not consume the item.

- Using the Blood Moon Medallion on a New Moon will cause it to change into a Waxing Crescent, as natural Blood Moons are unable to occur on New Moons.
Tips[ | ]
- This item can be obtained through crafting prior to a Blood Moon if the player defeats a Biter.
