The Hand Cannon is a Hardmode ranged weapon that is dropped by the Flying Dutchman. It uses Seething Charges as ammunition, launching heavy cannonballs that create large explosions. It also has a strong recoil that pushes the wielder backwards when fired.

History[edit | edit source]

  • 1.6.1.0: Nerfed damage from 80 to 40, use time from 31 to 39, explosion damage from fixed 65 to 25%, increased player knockback on shoot slightly, and it now explodes on first hit.
  • 1.2.2.0: Introduced.
