The Prehistoric Amber Staff is a summon weapon. It spawns either a T-Rex or a Pterodactyl, alternating, to aid you in battle; Rexes attack in a similar way to the Pirate Staff minions, charging at enemies and dealing melee damage, and Pteros fire eggs at enemies from a distance. Like other minions, summoned Dinos are invincible and follow the player for an unlimited amount of time, unless the player dies, summons a replacement minion, or cancels the buff.

Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stat bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, Minions cannot deal critical hits. The only significant advantage a Mythical Prehistoric Amber Staff has over a Ruthless one is knockback.

Notes[ | ]

  • If the Show Donator Item Color configuration option is disabled, the Prehistoric Amber Staff will have a rarity of Rarity Level: 3 instead of the standard Rarity level: Donator.

Tips[ | ]

  • Rexes are fairly strong and have a fast bite speed, making them excellent against mid game ground/underground enemies.
  • The Rexes catch up to fast-moving players by sprouting wings and flying.

Trivia[ | ]

  • The look, the minions and the quote in the items description "Life finds a way," are all in reference to "Jurassic Park."
  • The T-Rex has a chance to produce a brown substance, presumably its feces.
