Totem Caller (demo)

Totem Caller use animation.

The Totem Caller is a sentry summon weapon that can be bought from the Tracker after completing the "Haggard Hagglers" contract. It summons one of four Totems: the Fiery Totem, the Grounded Totem, the Windy Totem, and the Misty Totem. Each of these Totems use a unique attack to damage enemies. The player can alternate between the four Totems by right-clicking; the display below the player will show which Totem will be called.

Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stats bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting sentry. Additionally, Sentries cannot deal critical hits. The only significant advantage a Mythical Totem Caller has over a Ruthless one is knockback.

Trivia[ | ]

  • The sprite for this item, along with the Totems, was the winner of the Thorium Mod Discord's Spriting Contest for Week 4, made by Illuminati.
  • The elemental attacks each Totem uses resemble those used by Hags, the hunted enemies for the "Haggard Hagglers" contract.
  • If the Totems were to be spawned in the air, they fall at the exact same speed as the player, rather than just spawning on the ground.
