Pyromancer Armor is a craftable post-Moon Lord armor set crafted from Inferno Essence. It takes a total of 10 Inferno Essence to craft a single full suit, or 13 Inferno Essence if you want to craft one of each headpiece. It is currently the best magic or summon set available.
It consists of a Pyromancer's Tabard and Pyromancer's Leggings as well as two different headpieces: the Pyromancer's Cowl and Magma Seer's Mask. Note that only one of the headpieces may be equipped at once but both will trigger a set bonus with the body and legs.
The Pyromancer's Cowl gives 14 defense, 20% increased magic damage, greatly increased mana regeneration, maximum mana is increased by 60, increased magic damage by 0.5% per nearby enemy afflicted with On Fire! (10 times as effective against bosses) and magical attacks will Singed and Ignite enemies; and the Magma Seer's Mask gives 26 defense, 40% increased minion damage, increases your max number of minions by 6, increases your max number of sentries by 3 and 25% increased minion knockback. The Pyromancer's Tabard gives 18 defense, 18% increased magic and minion damage, 16% increased magic critical strike chance, 15% increased minion knockback and maximum mana is increased by 20; and Pyromancer's Leggings gives 16 defense, 14% increased magic and minion damage, 15% increased movement speed and maximum mana is increased by 20.
A full set always provides a total of at least 48 defense, 32% increased magic and minion damage, 16% increased magic critical strike chance, 15% increased minion knockback, 15% increased movement speed and maximum mana is increased by 40 in addition to any stats given by the particular headpiece. When wearing the Pyromancer's Cowl, its set bonus causes magic attacks to damage, Singed and Ignite all enemies in a big area around the target. If the Magma Seer's Mask is worn, its set bonus causes pressing the Special Ability key to summon an echo of Slag Fury's power, a floating fire orb that periodically generates a fire barrier and rapidly shoots homing fire bullets that inflict On Fire! toward enemies; this ability also inflicts the Molten Fury debuff on the player for 60 seconds, preventing special abilities from being used again until the debuff is over. The set also causes a small pulsating effect around the wearer.
