The Spectral Blade is a Hardmode broadsword that deals magic damage. Upon striking an enemy, the user receives 20 mana and is granted the Mightily Enchanted buff, which increases magic damage by 15% and magic critical strike chance by 11%, reduces mana cost by 15%, and greatly increases mana regeneration. This weapon is useful to boost spell casting abilities, as the bonuses granted after striking an enemy are all beneficial. However, the downside is that the player would have to approach the enemy in order to receive the buff, which goes against the playstyle of a mage. Thus, usage of the Spectral Blade is situational, and up to the player's preference; however, a notable fact about the sword is that it has autoswing, unlike its predecessors, which makes hitting enemies easier.
It belongs to a series of enchanted items, which share the same visual theme and share similar crafting ingredients. These include the Enchanter's Sword, True Enchanter's Sword, Enchanted Shield and Enchanted Barrier.
Its best modifier is Godly.
