This is a Town NPC. A House may be required in order for it to appear.

The Spiritualist is an NPC vendor that will spawn once the following conditions have been met:

• There is an empty house.
• The Buried Champion has been defeated.

When threatened by enemies, he will defend himself with spiritual wisps.

Guardian Angel

The Spiritualist can provide protection by paying him 5 Purified Shards. Once paid, the Guardian Angel buff is granted for 5 minutes, giving the player one chance to avoid fatal damage during that time. Upon dying the Guardian's Exhaustion debuff is applied, making the player unable to receive the Spiritualist's gift for 10 minutes.

If the player dies and revives again, they are given a random boost for 10 seconds alongside the debuff, out of three options:

• "I'm afraid I can't currently protect you. The residual energy from my power is still interfering with my attempts to empower you." (If the Guardian's Exhaustion debuff is still active)

• The outfit the Spiritualist is wearing is similar to the Solar Cultist set, with the only differences being a shorter hood and slightly larger leggings.
