Spring Steps

The Spring Steps are an accessory that is found in Scarlet Chests. It allows the player to build up increasing jump height each time they jump; the first jump will be normal, the second will be 2 tiles higher, and the third will be 8 tiles higher than that, with an additional fiery effect. This pattern will reset with every third jump and repeatedly cycle. It also increases allowed falling distance before taking damage by 15 tiles.
