The Ragnarök is a post-Moon Lord boss and the final boss of the Thorium Mod. It consists of three separate bosses: Aquaius, The Endless Tide; Omnicide, The Life Defiler; and Slag Fury, The Primordial Flame, with each having its own attack pattern and life count.
All three bosses must be defeated in order to stop the Ragnarök; in Expert Mode, however, a final confrontation appears after their defeat that must also be defeated to be victorious.
While The Ragnarök is alive, the vanilla track Moon Lord will play.
Spawn
The Ragnarök does not spawn on its own and must be summoned by the player using the Doom Sayer's Coin anywhere and at night.

- Amalgamates once the Bubble Core is defeated, becoming stronger and resuming her attacks with added attack frequency. She will also begin summoning numerous more Aquaius Bubbles.

Omnicide, The Life Defiler
Omnicide, The Life Defiler is the death based primordial spirit of the Ragnarök. He attacks in the following manner:

- Releases a large pulsating blast of green energy that deals a large amount of damage to hit players.
- At 85% life, Omnicide begins raining down large green energy balls from above the chosen players position.
- At 70% life, Omnicide begins releasing large green energy balls from the left and right of the players position.
- At 55% life, Omnicide begins creating a rotating wall of laughing skulls around the player, that after a short delay, stagnate mid air dealing massive damage to the player should they run into it.
- When defeated, displays the status message, "Omnicide fades out of existence..."
- If the player exceeds the DPS cap of 3,000, he becomes more aggressive and larger in size.

Slag Fury, The Primordial Flame
Slag Fury, The Primordial Flame is the fire based primordial spirit of the Ragnarök. He attacks in the following manner:
- Rapidly charges the player.
- Fires off quickly moving flame lashes, that explode upon hitting a player and inflict the On Fire! debuff.
- Fires off large pulses of flame that travel quicker and explode larger than the flame lashes.
- At 66% life, Slag Fury begins firing off bursts of fire that generate flaming tornadoes upon impacting a tile. These tornadoes spew multitudes of fireballs into the air.
- At 33% life, Slag Fury begins pausing mid-air, surrounding himself with a large amount of flame particles before releasing a massive barrage of homing fire balls.
- After every lost 33% life, Slag Fury massively increases the frequency of his charges and flame attacks, quickly overwhelming unaware players.

Dying Reality, the Ragnarök is the final confrontation available to players using the Thorium Mod and poses an immense threat to the player. It appears after all three former bosses are defeated. The world takes on a muted purple color while this entity is active, and its appearance is notified with the status message, "The very fabric of reality is tearing at the seams!"
The Revenants do not disappear once Dying Reality is unleashed, and will continue to assault the player throughout all of Dying Reality's attacks.
Behavior
- Charges at the nearest player every half second, dealing incredibly high contact damage.
- Dying Reality calls upon the primordial elements, surrounding itself or the player with entities according to each of them. These rings will be periodically replenished until Dying Reality switches to a different element.
- Surrounds the player with a spinning ring of Inner Despairs. While this is occurring, Dying Reality fires globules of vile liquid at the nearest player, and heals itself for 250 life every couple of seconds.
- Surrounds itself with a spinning ring of three Impending Dreads, which sporadically fire death bolts at the nearest player.
- Surrounds itself with a spinning ring of five Unstable Angers, which constantly unleash fiery spikes at the nearest player. While this is occurring, Dying Reality also releases bursts of three or four flame meteors at the nearest player.
- Periodically stops in place and unleashes three bursts of Reality Fury, which home in on nearby players incredibly quickly. After doing this, three Omega Sigils begin to circle around the player.
- These Omega Sigils each summon Boundless Entities at intervals, which will fly to an area above the player and fire projectiles down onto them.
Aftermath
- Upon defeating The Ragnarök in Expert mode, an elemental explosion will occur and the status message, "Reality gracefully resumes its tranquil state..." will appear. The winning players will receive the Reality Bearer buff, displaying a crown above their head to signify their victory.
Notes
- Although recommended to be fought after the Moon Lord has been defeated, The Ragnarök can be fought prior if the player fails to defeat him, due to the fact that the recipe for the Doom Sayer's Coin only requires the Celestial Towers to be defeated.
- If the player exceeds a damage cap of 3,000 DPS then each of the three bosses will enrage and enlarge up to 3 times, making them stronger.
- Dying against The Ragnarök displays a unique death message: "<Player Name> has failed Terraria..."
Tips
- For an in depth guide on strategies plus equipment and arena recommendations, see Guide:The Ragnarök strategies.
Trivia
- The boss is named after the Norse apocalypse, Ragnarök.
