True Light's Lament casting animation.
The True Light's Lament is a Hardmode magic weapon. It fires a star that pierces through enemies and inflicts the Light Curse debuff which deals rapid damage over 3 seconds. If the star reaches its destination or collides with a tile, it disappears and summons a twinkle that creates falling stars and rising cursed fire at that location. The stars and fire will both pass through tiles and deal ~80% and ~60% damage to enemies while also inflicting them with a short duration of Light Curse or Cursed Inferno, respectively.
True Light's Lament is the upgraded version of the Pre-Hardmode staff, Light's Lament, having increased damage, twice the summoned projectiles and being able to summon more than one storm.
Its best modifier is Mythical.

Notes
- Due to the falling stars passing through blocks and generating light, True Light's Lament is very useful in finding cave networks, ore veins, chests, or other treasure found underground.
- Like its Pre-Hardmode version, True Light's Lament has a Crimson counterpart, True Bloodboil. Either can be used to craft the Terra Staff.
